Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My father’s battle with diabetes, dialysis and his passing, deeply shaped my mission to live healthier and help others do the same. While working with a nonprofit, I continuously met kids in my community who were regularly going to bed hungry. Those moments inspired me to create a premium, healthy, and affordable food option to serve the next generation. These experiences drive my passion to grow VIDA, make healthy eating more accessible, and create lasting impact in my community.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation is rooted in resilience, purpose, and an unwavering belief in the vision that God has placed on my heart. I am driven by my late father’s memory and the mission to make healthier food more accessible and affordable for underserved communities. This reflects a steadfast determination, fueled by the belief that every hurdle is a step closer towards a breakthrough and the fulfillment of my purpose.

What would you do with the $25,000?

$10,000 would fund an AI-enabled drive-thru board, enhancing drive thru operations. $5,000 would secure a pallet of açaí at the best price, $5,000 would provide an outdoor sign to improve external visibility. $2,500 towards paid local ads through Google and Meta. $1,500 would enhance night time visibility with improved lighting, $1,000 would upgrade our catering experience with a branded cart. These investments will drive growth, boost visibility, and elevate customer experience.
