Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The dream of owning a house was my inspiration and my motivation. I would dream about owning my own home! when things got hard I kept that dream in my mind. I become an accidental Entrepeneur and would scrub toilets dreaming of what my house will look like someday or where it'd be, but I was also undocumented so it was a hard to reach dream at the time. I ended up buying a house for $119,000 and today is worth $500,000 I still own the property today.

How do you stay motivated?

Necessity is what kept me motivated and helping my single mother who didn't speak the language and had very low paying jobs. Helping her became a goal of mine. My family had gone through so much coming here and with my father abandoning us, in a weird way I took on his role and wanted to be responsible for the well being of my family. Today my motivation really comes internally knowing that I am opening the way for others to believe in themselves when they see what I have accomplished myself.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I want to build a school in a third world country where kids will learn self empowerment, self love, Entrepreneurship, values, etc. I believe education combined with inspiration and the right tools can bring new and compassionate leaders to the world. I want to help those who otherwise don't stand a chance just like someday I was that kid myself. If this project is not possible for any reason, I pledge to help 5 organizations in my community for $5000 donation to each.
