Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Years ago, I fell very ill with a lot of complicated and mysterious things happening all at once. It was a very humbling experience, and bodywork was a major factor in me finding healing. I was inspired to bring wellness to my community via massage, float therapy, sound therapy, salt room therapy, red light therapy, and infrared sauna. I purchased my building and renovated it with my husband and I, and it's been a dream come true to help my community and own a family business.

How do you stay motivated?

By day, I also work for the DoD, this is the job I held before falling ill. I juggle both to keep going for my kids. I employ my daughter and I hope to pass it onto her one day. I also want to gain as much expertise as I can to start a school one day, and even employ others in my community as there are not many career opportunities. My community has responded wonderfully and I strongly desire to keep it going for not just me but everyone.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I have some debts I would like to pay off as my day job is really helping this place take off. Without it, I would never have been able to start it as I was unable to get loans for many reasons.
