Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The inspiration of my business stems from my deep admiration for art. When I was younger I attended both, Bak Middle School and Dreyfoos High School of the Arts where I majored in ballet. During my time at both schools I was surrounded by other majors including visual arts, music, vocal, theatre and communications. At the time, I didn’t realize how truly fortunate I was, but as an adult I have a profound appreciation.

How do you stay motivated?

My patients keep me motivated, both on and off tour. Whether its talking about rest protocols, stretching and strengthening exercises, postural awareness or addressing a new complaint for the first time, there’s a feeling of pure joy I experience when helping my patients look and feel their best. It’s especially magical when you get to treat artists and their crews prior to a show and then you get to experience them do that thing that they’re just so passionate about.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would utilize the money to travel more frequently to venues and provide more care for tours since my care is complimentary and travel expenses are out of pocket. I would also purchase more modalities for on the go such as electrical stimulation with therapeutic ultrasound, heating pads, another chiropractic treatment table, resistance bands, balls, etc. to provide the artists and their crews with an in-office experience at the venue and promote continued care during and post tour.
