Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Our youth is my inspiration in my business. They inspire me to continue offering our theatre and performing arts programs in our local communities and schools. Our program facilitates self-expression and even enhances the mental well-being of our young people. We give our children a secure space so they can create art with purpose, learn how to control their emotions, gain confidence, practice public speaking, collaborate with others, and much more.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I have a pupose that is bigger than me. Our youth, education, and well-being motivates me to do more. Unfortunatly, theatre arts programs are being removed from our schools due to budget cuts. Many children have difficulties with communication, emotional regulation, and emotional expression. Some parents and educators in public schools find it difficult to teach these skills. Our theatre arts program motivates me to impact our youth towards their own success!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to hire more skilled, experienced teaching artists, market our program, expand our performing arts program to more schools, rent out a location for students to showcase their work and performances, and distribute performing arts shirts to our youth.
