Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business stems from my personal experience with my grandparents, Nanny and Da, who both battled Alzheimer's Disease. Witnessing my family struggle to coordinate their care inspired me to combat ageism and improve support for older adults and their families. Over the last 20 years, I've supported thousands of seniors and their loved ones, continuously refining our approach at Dovetail Companies to navigate complex late-life transitions with clarity and ease.

How do you stay motivated?

My clients motivate me every single day. Witnessing so many people live in fear due to the prevalent doom and gloom rhetoric about aging drives me to change the narrative. At Dovetail Companies, we demystify aging and help people envision and step into a new reality where they can live their best lives moving forward. This work is incredibly fulfilling, providing what I call a "second paycheck" because it feels so good to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to launch our nonprofit, "Engaging Aging." This initiative will offer a free education and advocacy platform dedicated to older adults and their families, providing essential resources and support. Our goal is to empower seniors to make informed decisions that lead to successful and fulfilling outcomes, ensuring they have the guidance and information needed to navigate their aging journey confidently.
