Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My journey in creating my business began in 2015 after the heartbreaking loss of my son, Keon Ameer McMillian. His memory inspires me to help others walking through their own grief.

How do you stay motivated?

My connection to God is my greatest source of motivation. Helping the bereaved navigate loss also fuels my passion, knowing that loss is an experience we all face at some point. My own life journey motivates me daily - from being adopted as a baby, to enduring the pain of child loss, surviving a near-fatal car accident that almost left me paralyzed and so much more. Through it all, I know God has been with me guiding me for a greater purpose.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would expand My Path to Peace to support individuals and families navigating grief. The funds would help host transformative workshops and retreats, provide scholarships and cover advertising to reach those in need. I’d pursue a certification as a Grief Recovery Coach to enhance my expertise and credibility. Additionally, I’d invest in operational needs like technology and promotion to create a lasting impact for those seeking healing and hope.
