Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx, inspires me because she identified a problem, disrupted a traditional industry, and built a billion-dollar brand empowering women. Starting with limited resources, she proved persistence and creativity can drive success. I relate as we’re addressing a gap in women’s intimate wear with functional, health-conscious, and comfortable products. Her journey shows how authenticity and a mission-driven approach can transform industries and inspire change.

How do you stay motivated?

Knowing that I’m solving a real need for women facing recurring infections, uncomfortable wear, and concerns about harmful materials. The learning process—customer success, brand growth, product innovation, and operations—keeps things exciting, even when it’s tough. Progress comes step by step, challenging assumptions and learning from the real world. With new lessons and surprises every day, the mix of purpose and discovery makes the journey incredibly rewarding.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We plan to allocate $15K to expand organic and paid marketing efforts across Canada and the US, including ads, content creation, influencer collaborations, and wellness community building to educate women on microbiome health. $5K will go toward launching a new intimate apparel line to meet customer demand, $3K will cover trademark and patent filings, and $2K will fund R&D for our antibacterial and antifungal fabric.
