Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I’m inspired by the artisans and artists I’ve worked with, some of the best in the world; shoemakers, pattern makers, bag makers. Their skills shape fashion, yet they often stay behind the scenes, struggling to make a living. I want to create a space where they can share their craft, connect with the next generation, and be valued for their work. My goal is to make high-end craftsmanship more accessible while ensuring these artisans get the recognition and opportunities they deserve

How do you stay motivated?

Every day is a small battle in the entrepreneurial journey, doubts, long hours, setbacks. I fall, then get back up. Discipline and habits keep me going. Training in jiu-jitsu and MMA helps me reset when I’m overwhelmed; it clears my mind and keeps my emotions in check. I remind myself why I started, stay focused on my goal, and accept that sacrifices are part of the process. Progress isn’t always fast, but as long as I keep moving forward, I know I’m on the right path.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This grant would expand our material and human resources to create a space where artisans can teach, collaborate, and innovate. It will fund workshops, sampling, and mentorship, making craftsmanship more accessible. By connecting top artisans from around the world with emerging talent, we can bridge tradition and innovation. This space will also foster cross-pollination between different fields working with leather, redefining craft as a modern and meaningful career path.
