Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My greatest inspiration in business is my mother. Growing up in Haiti, I was seven years old when I saw her build a business from scratch, selling second-hand clothes and shoes in the city. Her resilience taught me the power of hard work. In real estate, I’m driven by helping others find the stability I once lacked. Having struggled without a home, I understand its value. In Creole, we say, "Lakay se lakay"—there’s no place like home.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by consistently reviewing my goals and dreams and asking myself how I can do more, be better, and serve my community. I connect with my family, pray, exercise, and practice gratitude every day. I immerse myself in self-development books and motivational contents, applying what I learn to improve. Networking with peers and seeing the impact I have on others' lives drives me forward. Above all, my mother’s resilience pushes me to keep moving, no matter the obstacles.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning the $25,000 would give me the opportunity to focus on expanding my real estate business and creating lasting opportunities for homeownership in marginalized communities. I would use the funds to develop financial literacy programs, guiding people toward the resources they need to achieve their dreams of owning a home. This investment would not only grow my business, but also empower others to build a stable future, just as I am committed to doing for myself and my community.
