Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is for children growing up to learn where their food originates from and to be able to prepare meals for themselves as they get older. I was a grown woman before I knew and could do each.

How do you stay motivated?

I’m 76 years old now and my Granddaughters , ages 13,9, and 4 motivates me. Our family restaurant Swamp Daddy’s Cajun Kitchen and my restaurant Louisiana Gumbo To Go ( which is non active now) keeps me filled with hope. I have a son , Julian who is an awesome/ amazing young man , also gives me the mental strength needed to continue my journey!!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put some into our restaurant, I have an invention in mind to help kids learn where their food actually come from . I have a small prototype to illustrate it. I have had it in mind for some 30 plus years. Never had the money to get it off the ground!
