Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is being able to use the knowledge & experience that I have attained in order to make a social & cultural impact in my community and globally. I will utilize my experience in Mental Health Research and the knowledge that I have gained as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and as a Medical Service Officer, Suicide Prevention Liaison, & Unit Prevention Leader for the Army Substance Abuse Program to develop and oversee initiatives that promote mental health

How do you stay motivated?

To be honest, staying motivated can be difficult at times but I stay motivated by thinking about fulfilling my purpose in this world and the lives that I can impact through my work.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will expand operations of Mental Health Matters Global, the organization I founded with the mission to advance Mental Health Equity for vulnerable and underserved populations. With the funds I will provide free Mental Health First Aid trainings for vulnerable and underserved populations, launch a series of educational community conversations around de-stigmatizing Mental Health, and carry out community health fairs that will include mental health screenings and connecting folks to resources.
