My parents, first-generation business owners, inspired me. My father, a Korean War veteran, grew up poor and was nicknamed “Shoe-Booty” because he could only afford one shoe and one boot. Despite this, he persevered and succeeded, teaching me resilience, determination, and the importance of creating opportunities for others.
How do you stay motivated?I stay motivated by focusing on lives transformed—small businesses growing, communities thriving, and underemployed individuals breaking barriers. Every win, big or small, reminds me of the impact of my work and keeps me driven to create meaningful change.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d expand our BoostAI-powered platform to help entrepreneurs be SEEN, SUPPORTED, AND SOURCED™. It connects underemployed individuals to jobs and entrepreneurs to contracts, funding, and resources. Winning would help activate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and create opportunities for everyone in this competition.
