I am inspired by the joy of serving communities I’m rooted in and driven by the principle of leadership: set a goal, choose the path, and prepare successors. Through ROJOrganics, I address beauty market inequities, creating innovative solutions for underserved Black consumers by collaborating with industry experts. My work is a mission to combine impact, equity, and wellness, ensuring the transformative power of self-care flows to all who need it.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by knowing that for every one problem that exists, there are at least 2 solutions that can be built. In studying my experiences with health & beauty disparities, I draw connection to larger BIPOC scales communities to uncover valid, equitable solutions. These insights drive my work with ROJOrganics, where I address gaps in wellness for Black consumers while advocating for systemic change. What would you do with the $25,000?

ROJOrganics would allocate $10,000 to Digital marketing for the Summer ‘25 Campaign, including paid ads, social media, email/SMS content, and professional photography/videography to boost visibility. $7,000 would fund the Heaven on Earth Campaign Launch Event for decor/activations, food, DJ, and media coverage. $3,000 would support R&D for a multifunctional hero product. Lastly, $5,000 would ensure hiring & retention of contractors for sales, manufacturing, and bookkeeping.
