Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My business was inspired by the passion that I have to continue to contribute efforts towards improving the quality of healthcare while helping people manage their overall health and well--being. Growth & Guidance counseling gives people access towards quality support and promotes educating people about the importance of mental health management. The business also inspires minorities and other disadvantaged populations to go after their goals while working on personal development.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by always striving to improve even when times are most challenging. I may take breaks but I don't quit. I make efforts towards working on daily self care and encourage other to do the same. I continue to work on my personal as well as professional development by educating myself though conferences and connecting with other people who inspire me. I maintain a strong and consistent work ethic to always become better.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would like to expand my business practice to an additional location. I would also use the funds to create an additional online service program and improve marketing. This would provide people twenty-four hour access to mental health resources by creating a community that people can subscribe to get mental health support on demand. Gaining this $25,000 would also allow me to develop the budget to have a team that can help execute this plan. I anticipate expanding to a third location soon.
