Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am inspired in business to make a difference in the lives of Salon, Spa and Barbershop owners that have the drive to grow their business. Who would like to become a staple in their community. The oldest profession (well that is debatable :-) ) has the rare opportunity to change lives for those that dare to dream. I want to give back to an industry that has given so much to me.

How do you stay motivated?

Motivation and drive is important to keep in the forefront of your day to day. Reading from Brian Tracy, watching Gary V or Thembekwayo. I became a full-time Entrepreneur at the age of 50. Up until then I worked for someone the praise kept me motivated then, but seeing the impact on a customer that really made the difference so for me I would say motivation comes from seeing the impact I have on people who have heard me speak, or have been on a team o work with.

What would you do with the $25,000?

What I would do with the $25,000 is first donate 10% to the children's hospital in Denver Colorado. My stepdaughter who's 26 now has cerebral palsy and that hospital became a go to place for us when she was younger. The remainder I would invest back into the company. I would hire an additional former stylist / salon owner to further deliver the message that you can be what you want to, as long as you believe in you and help the greater good.
