Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My biggest inspirations are Jesus, my father & my mother. Both my parent own their own businesses so this is something that I was always exposed to growing up. However, Jesus is my greatest role model and inspiration. Through him I've discovered my purpose and have created a pathway to be able to serve others in many ways. From creating unique spaces & serving home owners with my talent, to creating job opportunity's for many other passionate and hardworking people like me.

How do you stay motivated?

My biggest motivation is my children. Anytime I've had a ounce of quit in me, I think about them. In my most difficult moments I can admit that simply thinking about their future has kept me going. However, motivation in my opinion is one of those things that come and go in different waves. Don't get me wrong, I'm highly motivated and passionate about what I do. But, that's just not enough. Without a plan, a prayer life and discipline, motivation alone wouldn't have got me to where I am today.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate 10% of it to Compassion international. I fully support and believe in their mission. I currently sponsor a child in Tanzania ( East Africa ). This foundation provides opportunities for us to be able to help families around the world who are truly in need of it. Second, I would invest this right back into my business. My current goal is to open up a store front/ showroom. This is the next step in my business, having these fund with give me a jump start into reaching that goal.
