Who or what is your inspiration in business?

In 2020, I founded my business after years of working in schools, clinics, and homes, serving individuals with diverse needs. I was struck by the lack of Black clinicians in leadership and providing services to children who look like me. This inspired me to create a practice that offers high-quality, culturally sensitive care for all. My mission is to ensure representation, empower diverse professionals, and deliver inclusive services that foster growth, trust, and meaningful change for all.

How do you stay motivated?

I truly love what I do. Seeing the positive impact on children and the joy in families as they celebrate progress, no matter how small, keeps me motivated. I’m also driven by the opportunity to support my employees and their families. As a small company, the impact we make—not only through the services we provide to clients but also the support and growth we foster in our team—reminds me why I keep pushing forward. What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I would invest in growing my company by creating new roles and expanding to a new clinic, making our services more accessible geographically. This funding would improve cash flow, enabling sustainable growth. Additionally, the exposure could attract more families, sharing our story of how we started while inspiring others to pursue their passion and build businesses that serve the community. This support would help us make a greater impact for clients and their families.
