Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The inspiration came from my struggle with traditional seated meditation, which often made me feel faint. This led me to explore walking meditation as a more comfortable alternative. Many people also express difficulty sitting still to meditate. Zen Beatz combines guided walking meditations with silent disco headphones, offering an accessible mindfulness approach. With a successful personal training business, I noticed the mental health aspect was lacking, further motivating Zen Beatz.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation stems from seeing Zen Beatz transform lives. Participants improve mental health, reduce anxiety, and build resilience through our guided walking meditations. The positive feedback drives me to expand. My journey with mindfulness and fitness, combined with my successful personal training business, highlight the holistic benefits of Zen Beatz. The fusion of mental well-being and physical fitness keeps me dedicated to this mission.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, Zen Beatz would expand to different communities by purchasing headphones, receivers, and microphones instead of renting. Funds would also be used to develop a professional webpage and hire staff to lead the walking meditations. Ensuring participant safety is paramount; thus, we would also employ guides to oversee safety during the walks. This grant would enable us to reach more people, fostering mental well-being and community support on a larger scale.
