During COVID, I felt unmotivated and struggled with food while working in healthcare. It made me realize how important easy, nourishing snacks are—something that brings joy, not just sustenance. That’s why we created OHME!—to make healthy eating effortless and exciting again. Turning that struggle into something positive keeps me inspired, and seeing others enjoy our snacks as a feel-good choice reminds me why we started this journey.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by reminding myself why we started OHME!—to make healthy snacking effortless, fun, and full of joy. Seeing our customers enjoy our snacks and hearing how OHME! fits into their lives keeps me inspired. I also find motivation in small wins, like launching new products, growing our community, and staying connected to our mission. When things get tough, I take a step back, refuel with good food and movement, and remember that every challenge is part of the journey.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, we’d focus on retail expansion, getting OHME! into more major stores like Save-On-Foods and Safeway. This would help make our snacks more accessible, grow brand awareness, and reach more customers looking for fun, healthy options. Expanding into larger retailers is a key step in scaling OHME! and bringing our feel-good snacks to even more people across Canada!
