Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I was inspired to start my business after becoming a mother of three and witnessing the challenges Black women face in breastfeeding, postpartum care, and access to resources. I wanted to create change by normalizing breastfeeding, promoting NICU awareness, and offering services like birth coaching and postpartum support. Partnering with midwives, I aim to empower families with education and care, ensuring mothers feel seen, supported, and capable during this transformative time in their lives.

How do you stay motivated?

What motivates me to talk about moms and decreasing maternal and infant mortality is the urgent need to address disparities that disproportionately affect Black women and babies. As a mother, I understand the challenges mothers face, and I’m committed to advocating for change. Every mother deserves safe, respectful care, and every baby deserves a healthy start. With $25,000, I’d establish a women and infant clinic in Georgia, providing maternal care, breastfeeding support, postpartum services, and NICU resources. The funds would help secure a welcoming space, essential equipment, and programs to address maternal and infant health disparities.
