Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from a woman I met in Uganda, who ran a vocational school for girls, offering them a way out of poverty and sex work. Seeing young girls as young as 10 years old seeking a better life through education was a wake-up call for me. Her impact made me realize how empowering women and girls transforms not just their lives, but their entire communities. This experience became the catalyst for my nonprofit, where I aim to provide safe housing, education, and opportunities for women

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by staying deeply connected to my values, especially "People First." By partnering with local communities, we ensure sustainable growth and shared responsibility, which makes the work feel less isolating. My passion for empowering women and girls fuels me, as I believe this is my true purpose. Surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who share this vision and staying aligned to our core values keeps me driven and focused on the bigger picture.

What would you do with the $25,000?

This $25,000 would allow us to hire a team to expand our outreach and begin building a school in Uganda, where girls are often denied education. The school will provide them with the tools to break the cycle of poverty. Additionally, the funds will support a leather-making system, creating dignified jobs for single mothers and women seeking sustainable income. This investment will empower women, drive lasting community change, and transform the futures of countless families.
