Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My father had a connection for sweaters wholesale out of Philadelphia in the 1960’s, I sold them out of my HS locker,  The only conversation I rexmember was him saying “to persevere and don’t give up.” To understand the context, my father had his life savings embezzled, forcing Chapter 11 on his business as I entered my teens.  By having almost everything taken away I can answer the what by saying I strove to create something original that would solve a problem

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated is really about being alive. Motivation is not linear and by learning to accept that is to accept that there will be ups and downs and the key is to remember to persevere and not give up.  Boiling that down, is essentially about believing in one’s self even when others fail to see my vision. Knowing first hand that there is a real lack of imagination out there only serves to reinforce belief in myself and what I’m trying to accomplish, which seeds my motivation

What would you do with the $25,000?

1. Finish tweaking my CAD drawings and running my 2nd CNC test so that my WoodStackables® parts can be mass produced and go to scale 2.
