Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration for my future business called “Poet4Christ” is my poetry. Writing poetry is my passion, and I would like to sell merchandise that includes lines from my poetry meant to inspire others to pursue their poetry. It could be pursuing things like a sport or music. What matters most is that they use their poetry (passion) to connect with God. I would use this business to sustain my family and me so I could also work on the Non-profit I have co-founded called Project 527!

How do you stay motivated?

I have three main motivators: my dad, mom, and God. My dad sadly passed away from cancer in 2019. He always pushed me to do my best, so I always work hard and stay disciplined to make him proud. My mother is my role model because she reflects the idea of “don’t cry to give up, cry to keep going”. I dream of one day repaying her for everything she has done for me. Lastly, God is my #1 motivator, He has helped me out of dark places and has helped me use my story to inspire others

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into a campaign for Poet4Chirst, paying bills, and college. I could run a competition on Poet4Christ’s Instagram where I would give away $1000 to someone who wanted to pursue their passion but did not have the funds for equipment like a guitar or cooking equipment. I would use some money to make higher-quality merchandise. I would give a chunk of the money to my mom to help pay bills. I would also use it to cover for some of my college that the scholarships don't
