Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I realized that my family has owned small businesses for over 30 years, in the welding and steel industry. My idea is more than just a local business which might start off that way. Im am running and building a nonprofit organization in Houston Texas for underserved young soccer athletes, Virtuous 1v1. I hope and pray I accomplish a free soccer clinic this year in June to bring awareness and touch the soccer community. It takes more than just pure soccer skill to make it pro.

How do you stay motivated?

For one my team members are like my personal assistant because they remind me what I need to get done since I'm always busy with my 9to5. Props to them! they want it more than I do. What really keeps me motivated is finally finding my purpose and building towards it. I wake up always thinking about the next steps for this nonprofit I'm trying to build.

What would you do with the $25,000?

the majority of the winning would be reinvested, and $5000 would be set aside in case my mom asks for some money so I can stop saying I can't right now or don't have any. Makes me mad and sad all at the same time not being able to give to our mom, or in case she runs into an emergency since we did come from a poor Latino household. I have to think about my family when coming up with the money I am blessed with.
