Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

We're inspired by brands like Siete Foods, La Colombe, and Yards Brewery. Siete Foods was founded by seven siblings starting with tortilla chips and recently sold for over $1Bn. La Colombe and Yards started in the Philadelphia region and, like Siete Foods, built quality driven, premium food businesses at the regional and national level. Yards has a full taproom and production facility in Philadelphia and La Colombe sold to Chobani for over $1Bn.

How do you stay motivated?

We're a family before we're a business and we stay motivated by focusing on that. We started this business to collectively honor the legacy of our Aunt LaDessia, a family matriarch that we lost during the pandemic. We cheer every win, learn from every challenge, and maintain a spirit of gratitude for the journey and what we've accomplished and are continuing to build together as a family.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We are pursuing national contracts with multiple, US based caterers and hospitality companies and category reviews with buyers for regional grocery chains. If we win that business, $10-15K would be used to fulfill those contracts and the remaining funds would be used exhibit at other B2B trade shows. Otherwise, we'd put $10K into targeted ads and spend the remaining $15K on sales support to drive our growth.
