Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My father has been an entrepreneur his whole career, and I definitely feel my inspiration stems from his passion. The amount of success that I can achieve is limitless, I just have to reach out and grab it. He has taught me the importance of following my dreams and that true passion must be your foundation to a successful career - that and staying consistently dedicated to mastering your craft. Making my parents proud gives me the motivation to do what I do every day.

How do you stay motivated?

Every year I experience new challenges in my business and I learn from my failures. My growth is what keeps me motivated. The wedding industry is forever evolving and staying ahead of the curve is so important. Learning and succeeding as an entrepreneur needs to happen every day and it feels so good to learn something new! There will always be someone out there who is better than you, and it’s important to learn from them rather than try to compete.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were to win this $25,000, it would be invested into growing my business, as well as educating other entrepreneurs. I love what I do, and it gives me great joy to spread my knowledge and experience to other young, passionate people who work for themselves. By offering one on one mentoring sessions and group workshops, I can teach others that their success can happen by dreaming first. All great ideas start with a vision, and I want to show people how to turn their vision into their reality.
