Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Having come from a country where people are very giving, despite over 50% of them being in extreme poverty, has highlighted my privilege of knowledge and given a clear insight into the fact that my education and my self learning will be used to give back to others and back to those who have given to me, that including my loved ones that are still back home. My inspiration is not a singular person, but all those who give despite not having much to give.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by turning goals into habits, ensuring consistency no matter the circumstances. The thought of positively impacting others and giving back to my community keeps me driven. I set clear goals, celebrate small wins, and remind myself of the privilege I have to learn and grow. By maintaining routines and staying disciplined, I ensure that even on challenging days, I stay focused and get the work done.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest the $25,000 into my business, YUPA – The Student Marketplace, a platform I created to connect students for providing and seeking affordable services within their college communities. Currently live on the AppStore and operating at colleges, YUPA helps students earn income and access essential services. The funds would be used to expand to more campuses, enhance app features, improve user experience, and grow its impact on student communities nationwide.
