Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from the stark reality that Black Americans have the lowest homeownership rate nationally. This drives my mission to motivate, educate, and elevate as many individuals as I can into homeownership. I believe homeownership is a powerful tool for building generational wealth and stability. By providing guidance, education, and support, I aim to break barriers, inspire confidence, and help my clients turn their dreams of owning a home into reality.

How do you stay motivated?

My faith is the foundation of my motivation. It reminds me that my work serves a higher purpose and that I’m not just helping people buy homes—I’m helping them build stability, wealth, and a brighter future. I stay motivated by focusing on the lives I can impact, leaning on my faith during challenges, and trusting that every step I take is part of a greater plan. Knowing I’m making a difference keeps me going every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would expand the J Good Guide to Homeownership program to help more individuals achieve their dreams. Using my guide and 6-month program as a foundation, I’d develop interactive tools, online resources, and personalized coaching. The funds would also support hosting workshops in underserved communities, providing education and resources to break barriers and increase homeownership opportunities, empowering more people to build wealth and stability.
