My mission is to bring non-toxic, formaldehyde-free keratin treatments to the masses, especially to women of color. They’re often told to either wear their hair completely natural or use toxic relaxers that damage their hair and health. My biggest motivation is my clients. For 10 years, I’ve seen keratin treatments change lives. I’ve never had happier clients in my chair, and I want to bring that joy to everyone. If I were to win $25,000, I’d split it to achieve two key goals: signing the lease for my second location in Southern California and starting the design of my own brand of keratin treatment for $10,000. I’d also allocate $5,000–$10,000 to hire a social media manager. Right now, I handle everything—website, social media, and working full-time behind the chair.
