Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My faith and my family inspire my business. My family was there for me during my recovery and inspired me to keep going. When I healed, they inspired the very first speech I wrote. I hope to share a message that truly helps people and makes them feel seen, because my family made me feel seen and accepted for more than my labels.

How do you stay motivated?

I remind myself what it felt like to be at my lowest of lows and completely lost. I am also motivated by the resilience of the people around me. I feel like if I can be a small source of light and inspiration for others through my words, then I’ll have fulfilled my purpose. My faith also keeps me motivated because there is true purpose behind my dreams and what I am doing.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it back into my speaking business, because that’s my dream! When I say invest back into my business, I mean helping with my continued education, hiring help to publish a book, and continue my podcast.
