Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The idea that mentorship can change the trajectory of someone's life, is my inspiration for business. We are providing girls with a space to find community and receive mentorship. Every class I see girls grow. They build emotional intelligence, gain confidence, and step forward stronger. That's what inspires me.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by staying uncomfortable. I think stepping out of your comfort zone and taking action regardless of the outcome, is the best way to learn and grow. Motivation is fickle, sometimes we feel it, sometimes we don't. Discipline is what gets us there even when we don't want to do the thing. I see the impact our program has on girls and it motivates me to work hard to make sure it becomes available to girls in every community.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I plan to invest the money back into sponsoring girls in need to join our program and creating scholarships for their education. Empowering these girls is, to me, the best way to uplift and support our community.
