Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is comes from my childhood environment. Growing up in an extremely impoverished and drug infested family I was in college before I gain exposure to what it truly meant to be an entrepreneur. Representation matters. If I’m able to serve as a guided light to individuals whose upbringing is similar to mine, like my siblings for example, that could change the trajectory of their life significantly. After all, we can only see as far as we can see.

How do you stay motivated?

I keep myself motivated through reflection. I often reflect on how far I’ve come what is always enough to give me my second wind. I have accomplished so much in my life that I never imagined possible. Each feat empowers me to embrace obstacles and adversity, as I’m not stranger to either. However the main catalyst of my motivation is my family and a desire to change their quality of life as many of us have been in survival mode for so long. I hope to inspire them to chase their dream

What would you do with the $25,000?

If awarded the $25,000 all of the funding will go directly into further development of my business as well as marketing. From inception, I’ve been a one woman team, and this funding will allow me the opportunity to finance the support needed to maximize productivity as well as capacity. Pursuing entrepreneurship while working a 9 to 5 minimizes the time available for productivity. My main area of opportunity is building a team for support.
