Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime is home to over 40 small businesses inside. They are artists, curators, and creators. I feel a great responsibility for their success. We have created this amazing community. When we got flooded, it was all hands on deck. No one complained and everyone helped. These are the people who inspire me to do the best I can for their businesses to thrive.

How do you stay motivated?

I am uber focused and have always been goal orientated. Even when I'm training for a marathon I have a plan. I stick to the plan. If the plan says to run 16 miles - I run 16 miles. I don't do one step over or under! At the end of the day, if you love what you do, it's easy to stay motivated. I look forward to starting each day. There is never a dull moment and things are constantly changing. I wouldn't want it any other way.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If you would have asked this a month ago I would have a different response. But the other day, in a freak set of circumstances, a car ran a stop sign. It hit a truck that ran into my building. We have a huge hole that is currently boarded up. If I won the money it would be used to repair the building and replace everything inside that was destroyed. I am beyond grateful no one was hurt. Remaining money would be used for marketing purposes. We are hard to find. We need better signage.
