Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I am inspired by several things in business including the legacy of my hard-working Mom and Mother-in-law, the legacy that I strive to leave behind to my children and their families, as well as the many hard-working women entrepreneurs of the world that succeed in juggling it all. As wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends we are wired with the strength needed to also be successful business owners.

How do you stay motivated?

I am motivated by the feedback and positive experiences that people share with me and others after encountering our business. From the moment they step foot in our shoppe door until they sink their teeth into one of our many flavors of gourmet candy apples, they are overwhelmed with the love poured into our customers and our products. With each encounter, I am reminded why I enjoy what I do so much. While an apple seems so simplistic, the full experience is one that people never forget.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We would use $25k to grow our business offerings. While we already offer an amazing, upgraded candy apple experience, we have visions to expand that even more. This includes customized customer selected creations in-store and a mobile shoppe option as well. These ideas would make us the first to do so, just as we were the first exclusive gourmet candy apple shoppe.
