Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

Losing both of my parents to cancer changed me forever. I saw how it breaks the body and the spirit. My mom found hope in the “Look Good Feel Better” program, inspiring me to offer free spray tans to cancer patients and survivors. That mission later became Busy Babe Sunless, a company donating $1 from every bottle sold to cancer research. As a nurse, I dream of a world where cancer no longer steals our loved ones. This business honors my parents and fights for that future.

How do you stay motivated?

Busy Babe Sunless was just a thought when my world was turned upside down and my husband was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. From chemo he'd text, “You’ve gotta get Busy Babe going. This is it.” His strength, even in his darkest moments, lit a fire in me. Thanks to breakthroughs in cancer treatments, he’s still here-my rock, my reason, my why. I push forward for him, for dads like him, for sons, brothers and survivors like him. Busy Babe is my fight for cancer warriors.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If ("when" as my husband would tell me to say) I won (win) $25,000, I would pour it straight into growing Busy Babe, turning it into the powerhouse brand I know it can be. My mission is to make Busy Babe the top sunless brand while giving back every step of the way—donating to cancer research and making a real impact. Despite financial struggles, we’ve kept pushing, and this investment would catapult us forward, allowing us to become the brand that truly changes lives.
