My husband Ricky, and I were gifted his grandfather’s 1971 Datsun 521 pickup. We drove up to Concord California to pick up the Datsun and tow it back home to Peoria, Arizona. My husband Ricky looked at me and said “ do you want to transform the Datsun into a coffee truck?” Owning a coffee truck has been my dream since I was a little girl. Our community is amazing, they are what keeps us motivated!
How do you stay motivated?The journey of starting Chickies Coffee would not have been as easy without the incredible support I received from my husband, Ricky!! He was my biggest cheerleader throughout the process, helping me build the coffee truck from the ground up. His encouragement and belief in the vision kept me motivated during the whole process!
What would you do with the $25,000?We would use the funds to create an actual store front and be able to serve locally roasted coffee to all the amazing people that have supported us over the years :)
