Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration is rooted in the belief that through collective action, we can inspire meaningful change. Medically vulnerable children are 7x times more likely to experience a mental health event than their peers, yet they demonstrate incredible resilience. I believe that through community-based solutions, we can create equitable opportunities that safeguard their mental health and well-being. This vision, and the community that brings it to life daily, is the heart and inspiration behind AMoM.

How do you stay motivated?

My motivation comes from connecting with our community, witnessing the tangible impact of our work, & envisioning its incredible potential. Hearing from caregivers about how our programs have transformed their children’s mental health inspires me to innovate & expand. With 100% of caregivers reporting improved mental health outcomes, I’m driven to make our programs a standard part of every child’s continuum of care.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, we would scale our programs to address the critical gap in pediatric mental health care. This funding would expand programming, hire staff, and enhance infrastructure to reach underserved hospitals and communities. It would allow us to train 250 additional volunteers in evidence-based programs, impacting over 500 children who might otherwise lack access to mental health resources. With your support, we can ensure mental health is at the heart of healing for children in need.
