LaRussell, an independent artist, has been my greatest business influence due to his remarkable transparency in sharing his journey and his commitment to offer based pricing on merchandise, event tickets and even stock shares on his music. His ability to pursue his passion while prioritizing his audience’s financial circumstances is truly inspiring. I aspire to apply his approach to barbering by using my platform and resources to continue to help others in meaningful and impactful ways.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by focusing on the impact I can have on others. Knowing that my work helps people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin keeps me passionate about what I do. Staying connected to my community and seeing the joy my work brings them reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will open the first location of a barbershop chain that provides quality services at very affordable prices in inner city, underserved communities.
