After Lanie’s grandma was hospitalized, Lanie realized that drinking more water is easier said than done for all ages and lifestyles. We want to support health and bring joy to people’s hydration routines, whether they have chronic health conditions, acute illnesses, or are caring for loved ones. Our mission is to make healthy choices and habits more convenient, enjoyable, and easier to sustain. When we make healthy choices and turn them into habits, we get closer to feeling our best

How do you stay motivated?

Lanie's motivation stems from her grandma’s health issues, caregiving experiences, and the desire to improve lives. The significant costs ($5.5B) and high mortality rates (48%) associated with dehydration hospitalizations further fuel her drive. Our goal is to encourage people to boost water intake in a more convenient and joyful way through our fruit-enhanced bites of water. It’s a 2-in-1 packed with 90% water and is a better for you alternative to candy. Hydration is critical.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We’d invest in equipment. Being able to produce a higher volume at a faster speed, we could get our product to more individuals who need and want our hydration product. Businesses have reached out with interest to buy and distribute Hydro Gummy in the health care space, but we cannot meet this demand. We’d like to donate more Hydro Gummy to firefighters and those impacted by the LA wildfires, as there is a lack of clean water and HG is made with purified water through our RO system.
