Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My mother is my biggest inspiration for many reasons. Her unwavering determination in facing challenges has taught me resilience and confidence. She offers wisdom and guidance, creating a safe space for me to grow. Her kindness and compassion motivate me to help others, while her dedication ignites my passion for learning. I witnessed her balance her role as a caregiver to my father until he passed while still believing she can make a difference.

How do you stay motivated?

To stay motivated, I set clear and achievable goals, breaking them into smaller tasks to track progress. Having a child at a young age drove me to work harder, as I wanted to provide the best life for them. I create a positive environment, surrounding myself with supportive people who inspire me. Regularly reminding myself of my "why" helps maintain focus on my purpose. I celebrate small victories, practice self-care, and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest $10,000 in my community by establishing a scholarship fund through our Staying the Course nonprofit to provide ServSafe training and certifications for 50 men/women reentering society and underprivileged youth. Another $10,000 would support our Girl with a Grill "Pay What You Can Afford" program, helping families access hot, fresh meals at minimal cost. The remaining $5,000 would go towards technology, marketing, and enhancing our programs to better serve the community.
