Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is a younger version of myself. Throughout my 20 years of experience, I have often run into students and adults who were in need of a more mindful approach to the educational process. I, too, was one of those students who needed an educator that truly listened to words that I was so afraid to speak out loud. So, I became that educator for my students and for the adults that were under my tutelage.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by remaining grounded and leaning into that innate urge to pursue knowledge in all areas of life.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I will utilize the $25,000 to finalize the permits, venues, and vendors for my inaugural Back to School Block Party 2025. I want to utilize my business name and my expertise to educate and inform the stakeholders with informational sessions, resources, and assistance with gearing-up for the 2025-2026 school year. I will bring the community together to create an environment where knowledge is following, and fun is being had.
