I remain unwavering in my journey, relying on my strength, determination, and resilience to overcome every obstacle. I refuse to let setbacks define me. How do you stay motivated?

My journey, my rejections, and the understanding that I am the driving force behind my success or failure are what keep me motivated. I am my own passion, and I remind myself that I alone have the power to overcome challenges and create the success I envision. My grit, growth, and determination to push boundaries fuel my desire to achieve more. For me, there is no option but to stay the course and remain committed to my vision.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the grant funds to carry out plans for a new concept showcasing Gullah cuisine paired with an herbal tea bar. A portion of the funds would go toward renovating a space to include a bar, restaurant, and outdoor seating area. The remaining funds would cover three months of rent, allowing the business to establish operations without the immediate pressure of major expenses. This support would help create a unique dining experience rooted in cultural heritage.
