Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration comes from triumphing over the obstacles in all the communities I serve and figuring out on my own how to obtain resources and improve my quality of life. Living in NYCHA, growing up in foster care, and being a teen mom in a shelter is not easy, especially without any support. However, I've always told myself that this will not last forever, and I refuse to be society's stereotype. I'm grateful to have overcome my challenges, and now I strive to pay it forward.

How do you stay motivated?

When I see the postitve impact my organization has provided the communities and family we serve thats what keeps me motivated. To know that I play an intricate role in other people's success and providing them access to resources to increase there quality of life that make my heart happy. My prayer is to remain resourceful and provide solutions as much as possible.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would run more enrichment programs, such as a literacy vocational programs(youth/adults) and expand on my Drone program for children residing in NYCHA. In addition to providing experiences for our children in underserved communities such as museum trips and programs/events around literacy.
