Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

My inspiration in business is Ed Rensi, cofounder of the Ronald McDonald House and former President and CEO of McDonald's. His vision for creating meaningful connections and his dedication to helping others from a place of service resonate deeply with me. Like Rensi, I strive to make a positive impact by fostering communication and bringing people closer together in meaningful ways, whether through business ventures or personal interactions that build community and inspire connection.

How do you stay motivated?

Military personnel and first responders face challenges in staying connected due to deployments, irregular schedules, and emotional job demands. Standard cards often miss the mark in addressing their unique experiences. Overwatch Greeting Card Company fills this gap with designs that honor sacrifices, use relatable language and imagery, and provide a way for loved ones to express support. This mission to bridge communication gaps and foster understanding is what fuels my passion every day.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Should I win $25,000, I will purchase, and license additional artworks created by Veterans to enhance our unique product offering. New designs will go into production and we will expand our inventory. Equipment will be purchased to help streamline operations. Finally, an investment will be made into branding initiatives to elevate our market presence and start building name recognition, retention and recall. All of these steps will help us get to our goal of earning ¼ of 1% market share.
