Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

In 2020, I started in real estate. By 2022, with encouragement from the owner/Broker, I became a Broker. The owner of the brokerage was supportive of my interest in a community focused approach to real estate. We were a traditional brokerage, but, I CENTERED tenants to keep them from homeless at escrow closing. He was/continues to be an inspiration as I moved from REALTOR to Broker Associate to Corporate Officer/Real Estate Broker. I cannot thank him enough for his encouragement & support.

How do you stay motivated?

Staying motivated may be difficult but when clear goals are set, progress is tracked, and when the work I do (real estate) aligns with my passion (Homeownership through Advocacy - Opening Doors, Improving Lives!) it become easier to stay motivated.. It is important to celebrate small wins, put a support system in place, review and adjust strategy, stay and be positive, practice self-care, and I try to learn from both setbacks/failures as well as successes. I really enjoy REAL ESTATE!

What would you do with the $25,000?

$25,000 would be a good start to expanding Housing Advocates USA (HAUSA). We would like to acquire SFRs in the four Valleys in SoCal. Each home would house either Families, Youth, Justice Involved or Traveling professionals. We also seek investors to fund our cash acquisitions/transactions and receive a share of the profit (quarterly) or upon the sale or liquidation of assets. We need creative financing options, e.g seller/owner financing, equity sharing, funding partnership or crowdfunding.
