Connect Who or what is your inspiration in business?

I find inspiration in our business by seeing how boxing helps to change lives and help shape, strong, confident, and successful young men and women. Our boxing has a positive culture of family with healthy competition. We push our members to be their best selves and we hold each other accountable. Just seeing the positive impact that we’re having on so many of our youth and young adults, keeps us going.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated because I’ve walked in a lot of their shoes and I know how important it is to have a healthy outlet. I see the potential in our members, sometimes before they realize that they’re capable of doing such things. Seeing them grow and become more confident in everything they do keeps me motivated. Watching their success inside and outside of the ring helps us to keep going. We’re the only support and family that some of our members have. I could go on and on.

What would you do with the $25,000?

It would make it possible to help more people without the stresses of collecting dues and donations. We would buy much needed equipment and supplies. It would help us with expenses in traveling with our boxer’s that compete in tournaments and such. Makes it possible for them to get more exposure and live different experiences. It would help with our overhead to keep the gym running. It would be a Much Appreciated and Needed Blessing. Thank you for even considering us!
