Who or what is your inspiration in business?

When I was a child in Vietnam , my mother would creatively sew bands around my shoes to keep them from slipping off. She’s inspired me to create solutions to solve problems and to think outside the box. Taking her simple mantra of thinking differently , being open to various perspectives while having the freedom to let ideas flow helped me take chances . Making a fashion statement designing this product was born from inspiration from my mother’s unique sense of problem solving.

How do you stay motivated?

I look at successful entrepreneurs around me , like Sara Blakely that created products to help women. Being aware of how women can feel more confident and stylish in their shoes is so important to our every day life. I am blessed to have a strong group of family and friends that are supportive in building each other up in my community. Additionally, I'm a proud mother to four amazing sons who are kind young men. They are my four corners of strength encouraging me to pursue my own dreams!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d use the $25,000 to market and advertise as well as ramp up production of my product LYNKS.
