Issa Rae, hands down. Watching her go from producing Awkward Black Girl to creating the cultural phenomenon Insecure and now being a powerhouse across media, she’s a masterclass in owning your story and carving your own lane. She stayed real, bet on herself, and turned authenticity into an entire empire. That’s my blueprint and my inspiration in business.

How do you stay motivated?

Not to sound cliche, but I stay motivated knowing my family is watching me. My teenage twins are seeing me carve a path in entrepreneurship - a first in my family - and I want to show them what’s possible with a little grit, tons of passion, and a sprinkle of crazy. lol. My husband’s unwavering support reminds me I’m not in this alone. They’re my cheerleaders, my why, and my daily reminder to keep pushing forward.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d invest the $25,000 into my business by hiring fresh, talented creators and scaling advertising to reach more people. It'd be all about growing smarter, amplifying my impact, and creating opportunities for others while building a brand that genuinely inspires people. Every dollar would go into building something meaningful and sustainable.
