Who or what is your inspiration in business?

The community of Charlotte is the driving inspiration for my business structure. Over the past 5 years, I've been able to positively impact thousands of people through food. Without the community, I wouldn't have a business. The direct inspiration comes from their reaction to something they enjoy that they can't wait to share with others. It is such an impactful feeling sharing my passion with people who love the same things I do... TACOS! :)

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by thinking about the bigger picture for my business structure. I started selling tacos from my apartment during the pandemic which later led me to quitting my corporate job to pursue my passion of cooking for others. I was able to successful scale my business from my apartment, to a ghost kitchen, to a food truck, and recently received the keys to my first brick and mortar. Knowing that the community of Charlotte, NC stands behind my brand motivates me the most!

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25,000 would go towards our brick & mortar build out. Restaurants are very expensive to build out, and the $25,000 would be a tremendous help towards the expenses. The cost to build out the restaurant has drastically changed from what we were first told. This project is extremely important as it will help build job opportunities within the community of Charlotte, NC.
